About EMV QR Hub

EMV QR Hub is an independent toolkit built by Pankaj Kalra. It generates and decodes EMVCo-style merchant QR payloads and utility QR codes entirely in the browser. It is not a bank, not a payment processor, and not an EMVCo product.

Universal QR Platform

Generate, parse, customize, and validate multiple QR formats from a unified platform.

TLV & CRC Validation

Inspect payload structures, validate EMV tags, and verify QR integrity checks.

EMVCo Academy

Learn EMV QR technology, payment QR architecture, interoperability, and payload standards.

Privacy Focused

Most QR operations run directly inside your browser without storing sensitive payload data.

Why We Built EMV QR Hub

Payment QR looks simple until a wallet rejects a CRC or a scheme GUID. Existing “QR makers” often emit pictures without explaining Tag 53, Tag 01, or why a sample AID will never route.

This site exists so you can build a payload, immediately decode it, and read an academy article that matches the same fields — without uploading merchant credentials.

EMVCo Academy

EMVCo Academy is our learning section for this toolkit. It is not the official EMVCo training program. We cite public MPM rules (tags, POI, CRC) and send you to emvco.com for specification PDFs.

Articles are written to be used next to the generator and decoder: worked payloads, wrong-versus-right checks, and national-scheme caveats.

Understanding EMV QR Technology

EMVCo publishes QR specifications so markets can share a TLV grammar. National schemes still assign the merchant account template that actually gets you paid.

We implement encode/decode and explain the objects. We do not claim certification, sponsorship, or partnership with EMVCo, LLC.

Privacy & Security First

Privacy and security are foundational principles of EMV QR Hub. Many QR payloads may contain payment-related information, merchant identifiers, network routing data, and sensitive business references. Because of this, we prioritize browser-side processing wherever possible.

Our architecture minimizes unnecessary data exposure and reduces dependency on server-side processing for common QR workflows. By handling QR parsing, validation, and generation directly inside the browser, users maintain greater control over their payload data.

We continuously improve payload validation accuracy, interoperability testing, QR reliability, CRC integrity checks, standards compliance, and developer-focused QR tooling across multiple payment ecosystems.

Built For Multiple Use Cases

Our Long-Term Vision

We believe QR technology will continue to play a major role in digital payments, commerce, authentication, onboarding, identity systems, and interoperable digital ecosystems. As QR adoption grows globally, interoperability, reliability, standards compliance, and developer education become increasingly important.

EMV QR Hub aims to evolve into a trusted EMVCo QR ecosystem platform focused on developer education, standards-focused QR tooling, payload validation, payment interoperability, and technical learning resources through EMVCo Academy.

We are continuously improving the platform with advanced validation capabilities, educational content, QR architecture resources, developer-focused tooling, interoperability guides, and better learning experiences for technical users worldwide.
